Commercial Solar Panels

Photovoltaic Systems, Photovoltaic Panels

Today's corporate leaders are constantly challenged to reduce operating costs, increase efficiencies and develop strategies to achieve sustainability. Savvy commercial enterprises are embracing renewable energy, and creating solar energy solutions that significantly offset their utility costs in the process. But the advantages go beyond improving your bottom line. Solar electric systems will enable businesses to become virtually impervious to unknowable utility rate escalation, and perhaps just as important, help make a powerful statement about your corporate social responsibility.

In addition to existing federal tax credits such as the 30% Investment Incentive, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) contains billions of dollars of stimulus funds that may be available for federal cash grants, loan guarantees, funding to state programs and more. In the state of California, solar energy tax incentives are available that can reduce the cost of the system by 10% (up to $25,000 for one building and $50,000 total in state tax credits). Here are some additional benefits solar products offer:

  1. Maintenance-free: Occasionally, a solar pv array should be rinsed off with a hose to clear dust or debris that blocks sunlight and reduces efficiency, but that’s about all that’s required. There are no moving parts to wear out and solar modules are covered under limited warranty for 25 years.
  2. 25 Year Warranty: Limited 25 year warranty on modules; 1 year warranty on material defects and workmanship; 25 year warranty on power output.
  3. Data Monitoring Services: We offer many options to allow your company to monitor its system’s performance.

Commercial Solar Electric Systems Made Simple in California.

Site Assessment. The first step is to visit your company to discuss your expectations, analyze your business’s utility bills and energy usage, and conduct an onsite audit of your site’s physical characteristics and electrical setup to determine the size and type of system needed. We will address any questions you may have as well as solar pv costs, tax incentives, utility rebates and incentives.

Detailed Proposal. Next, we will provide a detailed proposal and cost summary laying out the engineering details, utility tie-in requirements, system components, operation, monitoring and financials including solar rebates and tax incentives that will maximize your solar energy output and savings.

Permits/Forms. We will secure the necessary city/county permits and coordinate the planning of the solar installation with the utility company. Tax credits for commercial photovoltaic systems are served on a first come, first served basis. At this point, we will complete your Application for Initial Certification of a Solar Energy Device and submit it to Commerce.

Solar Installation & Inspection. The fourth step is the actual solar pv installation. Our Certified Installers have extensive experience in commercial solar energy applications and can provide a turnkey system with integrated data monitoring devices. Since solar is virtually maintenance free, there are no major maintenance requirements, however we do offer both a monitoring and maintenance service to ensure optimal performance. After the install is complete, a California Solar Concepts representative will be onsite for testing and inspection.

Commissioning, System Check & Walk Through. Finally, after the solar electric panels have been commissioned (activated) by the utility company, we will perform a thorough system check and conduct a walk through of the system, covering operational and maintenance procedures. We will provide the System Manual which includes all the warrantee information. We are proud to deliver top-rate customer service--before, during and after each installation so please call us with any questions or issues that may arise.
